We’re always looking for new volunteers to join the Teddy Bear Hospital team.


What do we do?

•Our aim is to alleviate the fear of hospital environments

•Run health education workshops at schools and children’s groups.

•Our volunteers help teach the stations.


Who can join?

•Anyone!

•All we ask for are enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for working with children

•You also don’t need to be studying a medically-related course, we’ll teach you how to run our stations


Why should you join?

•It’s a great opportunity to practice communicating with young children.

•You develop teaching and leadership skills.

•It's also lots of fun, very rewarding and helps make a difference in the local community.


How much time will it take up?

•There is no minimum commitment!

•Each visit lasts about 2-3 hours.


Is it free?

•YES! Our society is Free to join and all the transport to the visits and back is also free.
